Graduation or Prom

Need some prom or graduation inspiration??

Thank you Reminisce for these awesome 2010 lines!!! It was the day before Justin's graduation party and I still had 5 layouts to go to complete his high school scrapbooks-YIKES!!!! But this awesome line (and scraplifting from his brother's album LOL) sure helped me create this 20 minute layout.

The journaling was inspired from a quote I had read & I changed it up a bit to fit our history.

I Remember your very first day of school, the big day came and you were anxious to go. We walked to the bus going oh so slow

As you climbed aboard and waved goodbye, I felt a lump in my throat and tears stung my eyes.

Time Goes so fast, i can't believe just yesterday you were Kindergarten bound, and now you're in your cap & graduation gown.

So I'm holding on to these moments as hard as i can, because the next time I look back, I'll be seeing a man!!

OK moms, time to wipe away the tears and document these wonderful memories-Get the 2010 papers while they are here-we don't reorder papers.

Do you remember what this long line was about in '07?

I loved this so much in the newsletter, that I had to post here.

Stephanie Powers is a Memory Maniac who has been officially ADDICTED to scrapbooking for quite some time now. She has recently enrolled in a 12-Step Plan called Camp Crop-A-Lot to "cure" her addiction. Here's how it works:

STEP 1- Admitting your addiction to scrapbooking

STEP 2-Also admitting that your scrapbook supplies are sometimes unmanageable getting in the door

STEP 3-Recognizing that 37 hours of cropping will help with the addiction

STEP 4-choicing friends to come and be supportive

STEP 5- Knowing your family will survive without you

STEP 6-Remembering that laughter is contagious

STEP 7-Realizing you are within the same room as a scrapbook pharmacy that carries plenty of meds for those soon to be completed pages

STEP 8-Knowing its not wise to replace food with scrapbooking but just in case you know your meals are available onsite

STEP 9-If you feel one addiction is not enough you can bid and bid and bid during the layout auction

STEP 10-Realizing that betting your friends who will get the first and best door prizes is part of that second addiction

STEP 11-Believing that sometimes is OK to be "schooled" with some awesome scrapbook classes

STEP 12-When it becomes late and you are guilty of DWIWF (Driving While Intoxicated With Fun), just stagger to your room

WANTED: Pranksters responsible for this . . .

This is a special report from the CCL PRANKSTOPPERS . . . Unsolved mysteries . . .

CCL Police are searching for the pranksters responsible for the vandalism of the CCL Tent, chairs & signs at approximately 3:30am on January 7, 2006.

It appears that this was an inside job aided & abetted by hotel security. The suspects appear to be 3-4 females, ages 30-40, addicted to CCL, armed with 4 toilet paper rolls & sticky notes and last seen in the CCL Crop Room. If anyone has any information leading to the apprehension of these CCL Addicts, you are urged to contact tammy@eatel.net, or anonymous tips can be made at 225-744-CCL.

Justice will prevail!! LOL-its all in the name of FUN! Were you at CCL the year that the police paid a visit to me regarding CCL patrons taking Margaritas glasses from Ninfas? What a riot-they had me going for a little while. SOOO you're never to old to have fun at summer camp!!!!

If you haven't taken the plunge to come to CCL, let this be the year!!! Get your friends to register with you OR come make new friends!!!

All about Me: “Favorite Places” – take a moment to think about the places you’ve spent time– whether it’s a room in your house, your favorite reading chair, or a place in town that is familiar to you—or a far-away and magical location you’ve visited. Think about why they are your favorite places. Feature up to three different places, or focus on just one.

“Things that scare me” – dig deep and be honest about your fears: what you are afraid of and why. Documenting your fears is one big step you have towards conquering them.
