Time for a Pep Talk!

Good Afternoon Ladies,
The family and I are settling down in the Carolinas. The trip to our new home took us three days with the three children, the dog, and my husband's parents. The sale of our house and buying our new house went quickly- almost too quick! We have been here for a couple of weeks and the last room to unpack is the scrapbook/ girl's playroom. Here is a photo I took just a few minutes ago. I am TRYING to plan carefully and take my time unpacking, but I am just itching to start some new projects.
I received some happy mail earlier this week when my new MMU shirt arrived from Tammy and the gang- I couldn't remember the last time I missed a pep rally, and I thought about all of my MMU students and the "Freshman" who are starting this semester. My advice for all of you is to just HAVE FUN!  Over the past few weeks, I have learned that the best thing I can do for myself and my family is to not let life stress me out. So attend class, meet some friends for a crop, do a little retail therapy, and enjoy the process. I promise that when you take the time to have fun scrapbooking, life just gets better for both you and the ones you love.
Becky and I will be teaching at CCL in January, so I'll update the blog periodically with progress on both the unpacking and the new class.  I think you still have to wait a couple of weeks to sign up for CCL, but I can assure you it will be a *magical* experience.
Have a GREAT Semester!

Awhhh, Jody you look so cute in your new MMU shirt. I know you will have fun finding a place for all of your scrap stuff. Be sure to blog any new projects that you do so that we can still share in your talent. We miss you tons. Kiss the babies for us.

Hey Jody, Becky did a good job for orientation, even though you could tell she had a lump in her throat. Have fun unpacking and planning that room. I think that would be my favorite part as you know I love to organize. I hope y'all are doing fine and take care. Miss ya!
