STITCHING FUN

Yes, that's what everyone was saying Tuesday night after Darlene's Class. Stitching is not new of course, but its something that never goes out of style. Darlene shared many different methods to include stitching on your layouts!!! Bazzill has some paper with prepunch holes, Bazzill also has some cool templates and she also demonstrated using stamps to stitch. here are some of the received about the class:
  • I liked the He LOVES me & the sewing technique
  • I liked the birthday layout best; liked learning to stamp & stitch; I really don’t like to sew on my layouts, but it was great to be reminded what dimension it can add
  • Great technique, great teacher, very, very good class!! No stress
  • Liked the valentine layout; sewing with the ribbon was my fav; Darlene is a wonderful teacher. She is so prepared and patient. Her layouts are pretty & cute and easy to put together-the perfect class for me.
  • I liked HOW OLD best; liked sewing onto stamped images; Darlene is an excellent teacher!! Page layouts are easy to assemble & more time is spent on the technique than assembling a detailed layout
  • I LOVE this teacher-she should teach more classes, She Rocks
  • I liked both layouts; liked the sewing;
  • KUDOS DARLENE, it was a great success!!!!!! Great job!!
And speaking of stitching, Memory Mania will be debuting some stitched papers at the EXPO:

Happy Scrappin'

Stopped by the store this morning & picked up the Formal Flourishes (In Stitch'z by Bazzill). These weren't at the store the night of class. These are 12" templates to stitch a flourished border. Can't wait to use these!!
