CCL COMMENTS - Win a free stamped Am Craft card for the drawing

We want to thank all of you that were able to attend the CCL-Throw me Something Sista’ Weekend Retreat in January & making it a tremendous success. There were friends scrapping with friends, sisters scrapping with sisters, mothers scrapping with daughters, grand daughters scrapping with grandmothers. We had a lot of fun and by the looks and sounds of it, all of you had fun too! We hope that those of you that were unable to attend are able to attend the next CCL. It was a weekend filled with goodie bags, room goodies, door prizes, layout challenges, page contests, great meals, great music, snacks, massages, king cakes, and 37 hours of dedicated scrapping!

Tammy, Tammy, Tammy....what can I say??? Yes, I can't wait to "Set Sail for CCL" even if it is only to sail away in a ballroom filled with women in pajamas (instead of a boat full of skinny women wearing bikinis) ha ha ha!!! Can't wait!!

I can hardly wait to "Set Sail." It is so much fun being with friends and scrappin' the weekend away!!

Can't wait for CCL and I haven't even completely unpacked from the last one! My favorite thing about CCL is spending time with my friends that I don't get to see enough! I didn't know how important that really was until my "best" scrapbooking buddy couldn't make it once - it just wasn't the same!

There are so many wonderful things about CCL that I don't even know where to begin! But I'd have to agree with Pam that spending time with scrapbooking friends has to be at the top of the list!!

I can't wait to set sail in July. I love getting away from my troubles at home. I can relax, visit with friends, have margarita (or 2), and scrapbook. Thanks Tammy and crew for putting together this wonderful weekend escape!

One of the things I love about CCL is walking around the room visiting fellow scrapbooking friends and looking at their layouts. You can get some wonderful ideas just wandering through the huge room too. I always enjoy seeing the layouts (especially photos) of my friends - getting a glimpse into their lives. Sometimes I feel like I know their families, even though I've never met some of them. It always amazes me how we all pretty much "preserve" similar memories - birthdays, sporting events, school events, friends & family. We truly are a sisterhood!

ohhh... all of your comments about CCL make me jealous. I've never been before - yet! My sister-in-law keep planning and hoping for one day soon. I can just imagine all of the time to myself to just scrapbook away ~~~

There are still some spaces left!! What are you waiting for?? It's a blast!!!!

Warning Deede! Once you attend CCL - you will be hooked - and you will wonder why you never went before! Get on board, there's no time like the present!

I agree with Pam. I went once with a friend about 3 years ago and can't stop going just to see all of the new friends that I met that first time. I had to miss in January...to go to Disney for my job (I know, poor me!!) It really wasn't that much fun. I kept calling and texting my friends at CCL to tell them how much I missed them. Never again...unless my boss sends me to Paris!!! ha ha ha

I agree too. I had to miss one January and I was so upset. It really is a retreat for me. So I would encourage anyone who is thinking about coming to get your ticket ASAP.

Another thing I love about CCL is the make n' takes. I really like that we can see them before we get them so we can plan to use them that weekend. I don't know how, but somehow they just seem to get better each time and the upcoming ones are no exception!

If you buy the make-n-takes & print pictures to go with them, then you have 3 more layouts oops'd & ready to go---three easy layouts!!

I have to agree with Pam---they do get better each time! Kudos to the MM team for such awesome hard work!!! It takes a LOT of time to prep all those kits!!!

I also love and appreciate the neat gifts we get each CCL. My favorite so far is the trash can. I use it all the time when I go cropping. The bag from last CCL is great too for packing kits to go to a crop. Kudo's to Tammy for coming up with such useful items.
