December 2010

November’s page-of-the-month creation by Greta Hammond features the
vibrant patterns and colors of the Wander collection by BasicGrey. Try printing your photos with a white boder around the outside of photos "pop" and give that retro feel. Greta’s
lovely layered creation is a study of simple shapes that add up to one big effect.
The stitched brads add a fun, textural element to the layout, while the simple
black rub-ons add a sophisticated and nostalgic feel.

For those students interested in the “All About Me” track, this layout will perfectly capture their favorite adventure. Whether it is a night on the town with the girls or a cruise to an exotic locale,
“Destination: Adventure” is a great chance to capture the fantastic feeling of being out in the world. This is a great layout to capture favorite late summer memories or even back-to-school pictures, too. The fun is in the journey, not the destination with Wander!

December’s elegantly rich and detailed layout by Kelly Goree features the Jovial
line from BasicGrey, and includes the ever-popular Bloomers and Pops (along
with a little rhinestone sparkle!) for a holiday feast for the eyes. Sophisticated
contrast is the name of the game, and for the “All About Me” fans, they’ll be able to “Deck the Halls” with their favorite holiday memories. In fact, this layout can bend to any number of holiday themes, from favorite carols to beloved recipes to even pets dressed up in Santa costumes.

Other themes this could be used for.
GENERAL
Nov: travel, kids, pets, back-to-school, staycation, patriotic
Dec: recipes, stockings, Christmas tree, shopping, holiday decorations, treats gingerbread house,
wrapped packages

OR ALL ABOUT ME:
“Destination: Adventure” is the perfect chance to detail travel adventures—from the food to the customs, menus, hotels, public transportation (mis)adventures and everything in between! Whether this was a recent trip or some memorable last-minute escape from years ago, record your memories in the convenient “Postcard” on the left page.

“Deck the Halls” is a great way for students to detail their cherished holiday traditions. Whether it is baking with family or decking the halls with all of the trimmings, Christmas lights in your neighborhood, favorite family portraits or simply images of wrapped packages under the tree, this is a great versatile layout for just about any personal holiday favorites
