I MET ELSIE FLANNIGAN!!!!!!!! I can't believe it! Natalie, Tammy, and Jill of course laughed at me because I was completely awestruck. Of course.... I had to ask her if she had plans for a new book and she said she MIGHT be working on something. YAY!!!!! I can't wait to share with all of you the plans we have in the works for the upcoming events at Memory Mania. Just know that I feel like I have been reading an awesome Idea book for the past two days!!! I walk around and cannot believe the talent.

I have literally been on cloud 9. I can't sleep because I have products and ideas swirling in my head!!!!

MMU Teacher Published in Scrapbook Trends

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!! Our very own MMU teacher, Michelle Sanders, is featured in the current Scrapbook Trends - February, page 118 entitled WISH. The page is typical Michelle, come see the layout today. Some of you may not know that Scrapbook Trends has re-formatted their monthly idea book and included lots more pages, it is quickly becoming the sell-out magazine for the last couple of months.

MMU Update

Hey Students,
Classes are in full swing and everyone is so excited about class this Tuesday, I can't wait to hear your comments since I will be in California-so please post comments here about class so I can keep up with classes at MMU while in CA. Don't forget to contact your sorority sisters and any other MMU students to set up crop dates. Your sorority gifts to each other were so sweet. Don't forget to post your inspiration journal covers on the gallery. We also have a student looking for some company on mothers' day out crop dates, post here if you are interested.

Some of the sweetest comments made at the pep rally have been ringing in my ears and I have to share it "Memory Mania is my home away from home" Danielle Gaudet said "I moved to Ascension Parish without any family or friends and walked into Memory Mania and walked out with a family", "Memory Mania is my place-a place for me to relax & unwind from the day in a quiet & welcoming atmosphere" and many more, thanks for sharing. We love that you feel this way because it is our goal to nurish friendships and give you a comfortable place to shop & crop. Woo hoo! New classes!

I just had to let all you Memory Maniacs out there know...I have got some really cool classes coming up!!!

For those of you who know me, you know I LOVE to teach!!! I have missed it greatly while trying to finish up at LSU. However, I am back and ready to roll.

We have a number of Scrap Happy classes coming up. These classes are great for those of you who enjoy picking out the themes and colors you want to personalize your layout. My goal in these classes is for you to leave class with two layouts. All you have to worry about is adhereing the photos and sliding them into your albums! :)

Its a differet kind of class, and once you try it....YOU WILL BE HOOKED ! I promise!

WOW, what a great kick-off for 2007 MMU, Jody's class, Font Fabulous, was a huge hit. Class was SOLD-OUT with a long waiting list. The evaluations were awesome-as usual. For all of you MMU students that took this class, post some things you learned for those of us that missed out. KUDOS to Jody for an awesome class!! Deneen's next class, Creative Techniques using Photos, is so intriguing, I'm almost tempted to stay home from CHA to catch it-sorry its SOLD-OUT with waiting list. BUT there are a couple of spots left in Michelle's Can I Quote you on That class Saturday February 3rd 10:30am - 12:30pm-the book is at the store for viewing, I wouldn't miss this one girls, sign up soon, as you know our MMU classes are 1 time only. MMU 4 LIFE

MMU4LIIFE!!!!!!! This is a recent cheer from the MMU Pep Rally last night. MMU welcomes 32 students, 9 of which are newbies. We have 3 sororities, but ladies you will need to post the names of your sororites as I am having a senior moment and can't remember them. But I do remember the cheers: "Who Dat talking about winning those bucks . . . , Sigma, Sigma Pie, Don't you wish you had a crop-a-dial like me . . ." The ribbon swap game was a nice change from the MMU bingo and I hope the students will post pictures of their altered composition books on our gallery, to post to the gallery, see the upcoming newsletter for step by step directions. Our cheerleaders, Becky, Jody & Michelle's smiling faces & cheers were missed by all:(-but you couldn't possibly miss the glare of the grill of that MMU4LIFER cheerleader-see photo. No fair-I see the other cheerleader removed her MMU4LIFE headgear. It was a really fun night, thanks to everyone who came out in that horrible weather, we even had one student drive in from Ball (Pineville area) for the pep rally-how is that for spirit!!

Ya'll ready for Camp Crop A Lot? I'm in the middle of the hussle and bussle of preparing kits for my class (Freestyle Workshop) that will take place at CCL on Saturday afternoon and packing all my stuff to crop my little heart out. Since I couldn't make it for OPPS at the store, I will be planning and packing myself little page kits this week to bring with me to help organize my thoughts before I get there. I tend to get a little chatty and take forever to pick things out while I'm there. Oh It's gonna be so much fun! Here is a little layout I did from last CCL back in July. I was 7 1/2 months preggers at the time...wow that seems so long ago!
