In case you missed her on Saturday, here is a picture of Princess Jasmine in from out of town to teach the Disney Delights and Elements of Design classes for MMU. We are so fortunate to have two teachers, Becky and Michelle, travel in from out of the parish to share their enthusiasm, knowledge, time, and in Becky's case costumes with all of our students. We hope that all of you who are taking classes this semester are completing layouts and enjoying your classes. And for those of you scheduled for Deneen's Embossing Ease class tonight you only have about four more hours to wait!

Scrap Happy
I sure wish I could take the Scrap Happy Class Sunday, they are so much fun!!! Scrapbooking is really in the news lately, have you heard that Diane Keaton is writing a book about scrapbooking?
From "The Ottawa Citizen" on February 9, 2007:
"Why scrapbooks? Well, it seems that Keaton is fascinated by them and has collected hundreds.
"'I've noticed that scrapbooks are really people's way of visually documenting their lives and interests with things that compel them. People who aren't really artists who have a need to express themselves visually. We collected all these scrapbooks from various sources and we picked the imagery that we thought was really outstanding -- that was eye-grabbing.
It's kind of poetic -- like anonymous art in a way, yet very personal.'
WOW!!! I'm kind of distracted today, and can't remember what, oh yeah, I wanted to let you know, Feb 22-25, all CK Tips & Tricks are buy 1, get free!!!! That's a bargain-print this for your coupon-its a private sale!!! Have a great weekend,

I WOULD KILLLLL FOR A COKE
You can't imagine my excitement when the guys at American Craft offered us a coke, without thinking, in my most Scarlet O'Hara southern drawl I said "I would KILLLL for a COKEEEE!" I had been craving a coke & for several days the only option was pepsi- I mean really, we were walking 5 miles a day looking at awesome scrapbook goodies-I just NEEDED a coke.
So anyway they got such a kick out of us southern girls and the coke statemnt, AND they offered us a really extra special promotion for our customers if I would just say it one more time Do you think I should? Also included here are pictures Jill took of an album cover & birthday card using some American Craft products.

Customer Feedback
Ok, can you tell how excited I am?? I keep thinking of new things to tell you. I wanted to take a few pics to show you how beautiful California is, but this is the only vacation-type photo that I've come across so far-still searching for the one with mountains & ocean. Ironically this pic is moments before Allison called to give me the many requests that you all emailed in for items for us to shop for. This was a very relaxing & absolutely gorgeous marina in Newport Beach, CA. Thank goodness because that was the last relaxing lunch for many days. Thank you so much for letting us know what you are looking for. We appreciate that so much. I wish I had pics of us burning holes in the carpet, running up & down the aisles of CHA. But that's OK, I'll post some pics of layouts with some cool products.
OMG, I ALMOST FORGOT
I can't believe I forgot to mention this, I received a great big hug from StacyJulian, it was so spontaneous that my buddies didn't get pics-sorry!!! Stacy is so real, I've met her about 6 times and each time she is so sincere & so sweet. She truly believes in scrapbooking your memories and is a great motivator of getting your pics AND your stories in your books now so you can make more memories. If you haven't read her book "The Big Picture" you should, oops sorry, I'm stepping down from my soapbox, I just had to tell you She is great and I got a hug.
Happy Scrappin,
Tammy

BACK FROM CHA
We're back!!! You certainly won't feel left out of CHA, because I think we bought just about everything there, SERIOUSLY, I think I could name what we didn't get faster than what we did get. Of course, its all floating around in my head right now and I'm not getting any hints for name dropping, but as I calm down, I will post some layouts using some products we LOVED and had to get. Our first stop was a private party to Luxe Designs, a brand new company and we were the very first people to view it!!!! AND it is awesome. Black and white color schemes were big at CHA this year, but our first pick was the best, we looked at everyone's and definitely LUXE had the best collection. AND we will be getting a new product from them, 3 months before any other stores in Louisiana, so stay tuned to the blog. Also Michelle has a great idea of picking one designers products & designing a class around all of that designer's products-so stay tuned for that too. I had to include this picture, John and Mike became best friends with Pam's dad, Pam is the designer of Luxe Designs. He was sweet talking and we walked away with some cool deals and a LUXETINI. Also pictured are all of us with Pam. You may remember Pam, she is an author of one of the first Pinecone Press Book Club books.
